Dennis,
The other DB-25 pins are used to output band information and input from an
external tuning knob.

In addition to matching the rig ID, I find that running the OMNI-VI+ at 2400
baud and CdE OFF, yields the best results.

With CdE (continuous display) ON the interface is a little flaky.  The only
thing that is missed is the screen frequency update as the tuning dial is
changed.  When a contact is logged the correct frequency is also logged.
