[Logic] DXCC Spots Configuration

Greetings,

I am using Logic6 with a spot feed from DXTelnet.  It works great, but I 
would like to filter the spots down to just what I need for DXCC.  Here is 
what I have done so far:

1.  For anguish management, I have turned on spot filters in DXTelnet for 
bands I don't have antennas for.

2.  I have edited Logic's band table to turn off announcements for all 
awards except DXCC, and for that I am asking for band/mode holes in the 
worked list.

3.  I have configured the spot log form in Logic to count only entities 
that I don't have cards for.

Now what I am getting is spots posted for any entity I don't have a card 
for by band/mode (1234 in the band setup table), and only those entities 
which I need for DXCC are announced (via the audio interface), but by 
band/mode.  Other spots appear in the spot log, with no award assigned, but 
are not announced.

Here is what I am not sure I understand:  I have a couple of DXCC 
submissions now, and they currently track, band, and mode, but not 
band/mode (to clarify:  I work them on 20 ssb, and 15 cw, I have two modes 
and two bands confirmed when I get the card, but working on 20 cw and 15 
ssb gains no additional credit, even for the Challenge Award).  Does the 
setup in Logic not understand this, or do I have it configured incorrectly, 
or maybe I don't understand the rules.

I just want to quit scratching my head about this and get back to working 
some DX.
