[Logic] Telnet Session in Logic 5.1.78

My version of Logic asks me to place the IP address in a box in order to establish contact with my packet cluster node. The node I want to connect to likewise requires a port number be specified in the address as several others also do. I can't get Logic to connect to any IP address, which also has a port number in its address. Am I doing something wrong? Any help will be appreciated.
