Steve...I run two monitors.
I usually leave one LCD screen on email, and use the big CRT for other
stuff.
During a contest, I like to use both monitors so I can see more windows.
It is a slick way to go.
There is no mystery, or special software, or tricks to it.
All you have to do is purchase what is called a "dual-head" video card.
Mine is made by Matrox. It has two monitor spigots on it. If you plug
the second monitor in, plug 'n play will recoginize it and install it.
Now you can open stuff up, and slide it right over from the first
monitor to the second. It becomes a continuous canvas to view with.

I have a cable hook up and im running 3 computers thru a router to accomplish the task now. Lots of possibilities I suppose. I ran a quick search and see there are cards where you can run 20 monitors, Is all this done with software to control them I suppose? Any info is appreciate either private or the group if you think others might be interested....
