[Logic] Changing the Time

Seems simple if you change all your clocks at once, but some of us do
not get to operate every day and may not be in the shack on the day of
the changeover. It may be several days or even a week before we log
another station (yeah, guess I'm not a dedicated ham as I do have a few
other interests in life) and by then we have forgotten about the time shift.
It was pointed out that the whole concept of software is to make tasks
easier and not create problems that could easily be resolved within the
software. I fully agree with that. Why force a user into manual
operations when it is so simple to perform the operation within the program?
Someone pointed out the problem of the change occurring in the middle of
a log entry. This could be resolved by Logic simply not changing the
time until no new data is currently being entered. Making this time
change in software is not rocket science and for all its versatility is
the one glaring fault in the program.
Maybe I missed it, but has there been an explanation from Dennis as
to the rationale behind not implementing this fix?
