Barry, yes the group is still very active. You might want to check LOGic 
"Tips and Tricks" at http://www.qsl.net/k3gv/logictipsandtricks.htm for 
possible answers to some of your questions and possible the archives of the 
reflector.

The "Spot Log" has 2 choices "Log" and "Set Rig." If you do not want to 
automatically log the contact, just set the rig to the frequency and manually 
log the contact. The zones in the info window will log correctly. Filtering 
can be done by entering "phone" or "cw" but cannot be done for more than one 
option at a time. I suggest looking at all phone contacts, then filter on 
band and then filter on prefix.
