You do that in the prefix table. Go to tools - setup - prefix table. Find the record that has JD1-) in the dxcc_pfx column. Then, you would add 8N1OGA to what is already there in the prefixes column (in my copy of 5.3 it has JD1-0 in it). From now on, every time you work 8N1OGA it will show as JD1-O.
