[Logic] Using STX() function with CW Keyer

I have had repeated problems as well with LOGic6 when trying to program
things via the SETUP path on the form. STX() is just one of many I otften
can't get to be accepted via the form SETUP command. Seems there is an issue
with entering compound commands even though they are really valid.
I circumvented the whole issue, per Dennis' suggestion, by using Windows
NOTEPAD to open the form in question and enter the expression. For
instance, using Wondows Notepad, open the SweepStakes form. Use EDIT\FIND
"Contest" without the quotes in NOTEPAD to locate the lines that store the
contest setup text. Make your changes and close it. The test it to see if
it works right. If not, revise it. But don't trust the 'Verify' command in
the form SETUP.
If you like, I will send you my Sweepstakes form as it is all setup and I
tested it out last night 'on the air' with other stations who were also
testing for SS.

Subject: [Logic] Using STX() function with CW Keyer
I'm trying to program function keys in LOGic 6 for SS this weekend but
cannot
seem to use the STX() function. When I do so, with or without a value, the
expression builder gives me a 'invalid subscript' error when I try to
verify.
This is true even when I program a key to simply send STX() by itself. What
am I doing wrong?
