Hey LOGic aficionado's,
Its stupid question time again. No one has asked any of these in awhile, so
I'll make up for the lost time.
I run 100W on HF and 300W on VHF (UHF and higher coming later this year with
even more of a power level mix). I do not want to have to enter the power
level for HF or VHF (or soon to be UHF and maybe SHF), so;
(1) Can the "power" field in the logform be changed to a drop-down field ?
I know that LOGic reads whatever we have entered into set-up and I don't
know if I fiddle with this field I will cause all sorts of trouble. A
drop-down list, while not the ultimate answer would kinda work.
(2) Is there some other way to get the power level to be automatically
entered depending on band ?? This would be way too cool, imagine my band
changing during a VHF contest, 6m, then 2m, then 70cm, then 2m, and all the
while my power level is automatically entered based on the band I'm
operating on.
(3) Take this even further and imagine that I have drop-down userfields for
rig, antenna, and amplifier. The common denominator again is Band.....could
you get these other userfields to default to a preset value defined in some
table ??
(4) Am I an Idiot...............NO WAIT, I already know that answer !!
Heck, I 'm sure there is some way to do a report style program, maybe like
the QSL report, except it fills a bunch of fields. But is it possible to do
it in real time with lists or tables ??
Thanks,
