I think I understand:
1. Dermot wanted to print 10 out of 50 marked "R" requested
2. He replied YES which toggled status for all 50 from R to S.
3. Now he's looking for a way to discover which cards were really printed to
paper versus his saying print 50 when he actually printed 10 to paper. He
therfore has 40 cards marked S which he needs to find and revert to R.
If I understand correctly, a simple fix is to do a restore. If you didn't
do a backup prior to printing, I bet you will from now on! Should you opt
for a Restore, make a backup before you begin and clearly label (ie.
what/when this backup is for) to prevent confusion!
As for why 10 out of 50 Dennis? I do this routinely. I'll select reports
for QRP contacts, a different report for Qs I really want to confirm, and
other reports for other uses. I may want to print only Bureau cards. I may
want to print only the DX cards marked for inclusion of "green stamps", etc.
In fact this is so routine, my log has a user field with a drop down list to
select the method of delivery. This link shows what I did:
