I installed the LOGIC6 demo. The spot log worked after I changed the line in
DDE to LOGIC6 for the EXE.
Unfortunately, after I switched back to using LOGIC5 the connection no
longer worked. I reinstalled Logic 5,I rebooted, nothing worked.
Any idea of what could cause this. Is it possible that the System Files
replaced by Logic 6 could cause it.
I am going to restore my Norton Ghost backup and see what happens but it
will be a while before I get the chance to do that.
It is also true that SENDING SPOTS does not work in either version UNLESS I
use the WEBCLUSTER window to do it. In other words, the DXTELNET connection
from Logic to DXTELNET seems to be broken. That was true even when the
DXTELNET to LOGIC connection was working before I installed LOGIC6. Perhaps
I do not understand how this works, should you have to use the Telnet or WEB
CLUSTER FORM to send spots?
It would be nice if the Send Spot ICON appeared on the SPOT log or the LOG
form or both.
