Hi Lionel, make a back up first! and try this:
I assume that the RST fields for this contest are the only one empty, =
then:
Go to Tools -> Advance -> Database commands and click on the lower left =
corner the folder icon, now select LOG.DBF; now click on Database =
files-> Mass change->Replace field contets.
Well, now drop down and select RST_SENT =20
the window WITH fill it with "599" (double colons included)
the window REPLACE ONLY... fill it with EMPTY()
now you can click in the count matching records and compare if the =
number is the same to the QSO of the contest, if do, then click 'OK'
Now you must re-do the way and change RST_SENT for RST_RCVD, the rest =
is the same.
About the second question, first of all I need to know the tag name for =
the contests in the Comment field.
Good look!

Subject: [Logic] Any ideas
I wonder if any of you 'programmer' guys can help.
I imported a contest log recently and it failed to bring across with =
it the reports both ways. Since it was a CW event all the rst's will be =
599. Is there a routine to update any blank rst sent and received fields =
with 599?
Must be an easier way than going though the log and typing them in =
manually!
Secondly when I imported my log from DXBase some years ago the contest =
name was entered in BXBase OK but appears in the Comment line in Logic - =
I wonder if it is possible to do a "find all the 'CW WW WPX 2001' =
entries" in the Comment field - delete that wording and add in the =
contest box a suitable entry 'WPX01'
Cheers for now
Lionel
