 From everything I read (on the Writelog Reflector), LPT ports don't work 
for controls with either Win NT, Win 2000 or Win XP.  I haven't tried it 
with LOGic but assume it applies to all programs using these newer 
operating systems.  There is shareware that may help at 
http://www.direct-io.com
