FYI -
No. 5-1/2 envelopes measuring 4-3/8 x 5-3/4 inch (aka "Baronial", aka
"Invitation") are available from Staples SKU # 909244, Office Max, etc.
These are sized for a quarter-sheet card (4.25 x 5.5 inch) and are available
in White and Ivory colors. This envelope size, preprinted w/ your return
address can be folded in half and included within your outgoing #5 envelope.
This size will accommodate many non-US size cards whereas the US No. 10, No
9 and small 3-5/8 x 6-1/2 inch will not.
When not using my No. 10 size card with the double window envelope, I use
No. 5 envelopes for both outgoing and included SAE return. All but the
largest cards fit within.
Using this size card provides multiple sources for stock. Stock can be:
PLAIN - White, Willow White, Cream, Almond Cream, Stonewashed Berry,
Stonewashed Putty, or Stonewashed Sea.
DECORATIVE - many different choices including photos on one side, designs on
one side, decorative borders, some minute design work on second sides, et.
etc. etc.
I enjoy having a wide variety to choose from and multiple sources. I am not
fond of single sourcing.
73, K1UQ
