[Logic] User defined fields

Help!

I have assigned two new User Defined Fields that contain membership numbers.
These new fields will not automatically transfer to the new QSO when it is
logged for a station that has numbers already filled in.  To complicate
matters, older User Defined Fields that contain numbers, like #1010, forward
themselves just fine.

Is there a setting I am missing?
