I have always been told that LOGic is NOT a dedicated contesting program,
but a program for general logging AND casual contesting. That is why there
are special contesting programs out there, as well as general logging
programs. I don't think that we should try to turn LOGic into a dedicated
contesting program, since that is not what it was intended to be. There are
lots of other programs out there, both DOS and Windows, for that purpose and
ADIF to convert.

The worse things in Logic, if used for contesting, are the fields you are
not able during the event to fill, eg. name, qth and so on. May be a
dedicated form should help but after the event how to merge the contest
log
  with the main log?
Beside, being a CT accustomed, my instinctive thing is changing the field
with the SPACE BAR and I mean with Logic it's not possible. When I am
tired
after hours, lets say I move in a sort of automation, so you are inclined
to do the things for which you have a sort of habit.
