[Logic] log.dbf

Hello folks....recently I volunteered to help another local Ham with his QSL
card handling.
He gave me a copy of his log data file to append to my data base.
I run Logic5.2.29. His version is later than this.. 5.3xx.
My question: will importing his newer version of  Logic log file into my
older version actually work or will it cause problems??   ( I just haven't
mustered up the nerve to go for it before asking the question)
