[Logic] Digipan Interface

I recently acquired a new computer for my shack which runs Windows XP. Since the change, I have had no problems running Logic 5.3, including control of my rig, both directly or using FT-Manager, and callbook interfacing (RAC). However, I have been
unable to get the Digipan interface to operate. I have what I believe is the latest version of Digipan (1.6d). I was operating Windows 98se on my old computer and the Digipan interface ran like a dream. Isn't progress wonderful?
Here is what is happening: when I enter a callsign in the Digipan minilog window, Logic as expected begins to create a new record. However, when I save the Digipan entry, the information is not passed to Logic and Logic stops responding. I then have
to use the Windows task manager to shut down Logic. When I restart Logic, the new entry has not been created, and any further entries in Digipan are not recognized by Logic.
Does anyone have the Digipan interface running under XP? If so, can you tell me how you have it configured? Alternatively, I have been considering a switch to MixW. Is anyone successfully running the MixW interface under XP? Thanks for any help.
