[Logic] Backup Compression Failed

Logic Experts-

 

I've run into a problem I have never seen with LOGIC, and I wonder if
anyone can help or shed any light on it.  Yesterday I decided it was
high time to do another backup.  Things appeared to be normal until I
got a message that "backup compression failed" and the backup quit.
LOGIC continued to run fine.  I thought perhaps I was out of storage
space, but there was plenty.  I tried saving to various devices with the
same result.  I exited LOGIC and did a database clean.  Restarting LOGIC
I got the same error.  Finally I rebooted and got the same error.

 

I have fairly recently switched over to XP, but I am pretty sure I have
successfully doen backups since the changeover from ME>

 

Can anyone help?
