[Logic] Log Form Won't Record Rig Frequency

I have been seeing the same thing but it appears, to me at least, that it
has more to do with real-time implementation in the software. Unfortunately,
I've not been able to consistantly reproduce the settings that cause it but
glad to see someone else is having the same experience!.
I first noticed it when the latest version came out and with my new FT-817.
I assumed it to be related to the 817 CAT setup but have since seen it using
my TS-680 that has been used with Logic for several versions.
I then realized that often date and time did not update either. Further
playing implies that a combination of settings between LOG|SETUP|REAL-TIME
LOGGING?, LOG|REAL-TIME MODE|ON/OFF and something else are in conflict. As
any of the forementioned settings are toggled so does realtime entry into
the logform but not consistantly enough for my feeble mind to see the cause.
I recall one session in which it seemed merely causing the logform screen to
be refreshed caused this to toggle.
Beats me, even now I got real-time to work once, and failed the next time.
All I did, in between, was to look at the LOG|REAL-TIME MODE|ON\OFF setting
(ON was hilighted). I give up, too many variables.

Subject: [Logic] Log Form Won't Record Rig Frequency
I'm having a strange problem. I just bought a new (used) ICOM 756 Pro.
LOGic will read the frequency from the rig OK and it's displayed in the rig
panel at the bottom of the screen. However, the frequency is not
transferred to the log form correctly. I do have the log form associated
with the correct radio via the various setup dialogues. My previous rig was
a Ten-Tec Jupiter, and frequency and mode and band info transferred
automatically into the log with that radio and the cumbersome file exchange
procedure. Perhaps there is some artifact of my previous setup still
looming somewhere on my system? If anyone has thoughts as to where I might
look to solve this problem, I would be grateful!
