[LEARC] Balloon Launch

Good morning All,
    I received a message from K5HTF that there is a balloon launch in Cedar
Rapids, IA this morning. It has 2 meter and Meshtastic devices onboard.
Below is Chris’s message:

“Balloon launch will be around 10am ish today. Usually takes a few hours to
get to 90,000 ish ft where it may linger until it bursts. Usually when it
gets to around 30-40,000 feet it will just start heading to West as the
Earth rotates underneath it. If you have Meshtastic devices you’ll be able
to talk through the default Long Fast channel. You will also be able to
track it with GPS on the maps portion of the Meshtastic app. You will also
be able to track it with APRS if you have a radio with that capability or
by using the website APRS.fi and searching for WB0EMJ-11”
