To all ARES/RACES members:

The NWS has published their flood summary #3 for the Mississippi river.
In short, their percentages of flooding for this area is way up. You can read it 

yourself on their website.

There might be a very good chance, we will get called to action for flood 
duties. I ask all members to make preparations for this task. Have radios 
checked out, portable antennas checked, batteries charged, etc. If you have a 
go-kit, check it and have it ready to go. Download and print radio-gram's, and 
ICS-213 forms with you. Brush up on your traffic handling skills.

While I hope and pray flooding doesn't happen, we must be ready in case it does.
