As Tony has already sent out, McDonough County and all surrounding counties are under a Blizzard WARNING! 

Please take this seriously and make sure your home is prepared. Check on elders and/or neighbors to assure they are safe and prepared, as well. Forecasted heavy snowfall and moderate to high winds can result in lengthy power outages plus stressed food and drinking water supplies. Travel is likely to be restricted to emergency vehicles only.

ARES will be activated. Members will be montoring 147.06 for emergency traffic beginning mid-morning tomorrow, February 1, 2011.
