This was announced at the meeting last night, but I wanted to pass it along on 
the reflector as well.  Ted Williamson, N9EM (ex - K5TED) was a longtime 
organizer of the local amateur radio classes for our club, and he helped to get 
a number of hams licensed in the region as a result of these classes.  His 
enthusiasm and support for the hobby will be missed.


Macomb, Ill. — 

Theodore L. “Ted” Williamson died at 1:48 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 11,  2010, at his 

home. He was born on July, 7, 1941, in Avon, the son of  Lyle and Bernice 
Walters Williamson. He married Betsy Hammond on Dec.  12, 1982, in Marietta.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services.
Memorials may be made in his name. Clugston - Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is 

in charge of the arrangements.
