Thank you to all who attended the club meeting tonight. We were graced by some 
faces we had not seen for quite some time. We had a very informativel program 
immediately following tonight's meeting, as well. 


Hamwork (instead of homework): I challenge you to reflect on why you became a 
ham and what your goal is or goals are while operating your rig(s). For example, 
I became an amateur radio operator when I realized how much further 
transmissions were carried than those of CB. My goals were and are still to stay 
current with technologies available to the best of my ability and to incorporate 
my skills and knowledge to serve others in time of need.

Our next meeting is September 14, 2010 at 7:00 pm. Please put this on your 
calendar and try to attend!
