The club held a brief business meeting on Tuesday, May 13th to discuss current matters of interest. There were 5 members and 2 guests present at this small meeting. There was no treasurer's report in Kevin's absence.

Rich's report on the UHF repeater was read. The repeater is "working" and it will be run for awhile on the 440 antenna in the radar room. However, he can not get it to receive signals after he leaves the immediate vicinity of the repeater. The repeater reportedly works fine when someone on an HT in Lincoln hall is testing, but won't facilitate mobile traffic away from the area. Mark and Rich are going to get together and work on this sometime soon.

New Business - Rich has several hundred dollars tied-up in various purchases he has made to repair the UHF repeater. He would like compensation from the club, and as such has proposed several methods of payment: 1) outright refund of all monies spent on the repeater's repair, b) compensation for repairs via yearly dues waived by the club, or c) a letter from the club recognizing his "donation" of these monies for tax write-off purposes. Since there was such a small turnout at this club meeting, the present membership felt it was best to table the issue until a larger quorum of members is present to discuss which avenue of payment to pursue.

The Heritage Days parade committee needs our help again this year to facilitate traffic and participants for this annual event! The parade is Saturday, June 27th. The committee needs a head count before the end of May. If you are available and willing to help, please contact me ASAP so I can get them a number of volunteers before May 31st.
