[LeArc] Heritage Days Parade Update

There is a new parade chairperson this year, so I anticipate there might be some changes.

In past years, Tony has provided some extra safety vests for those who might not own one, and he has stated that he will bring those again this year IF he can find them.  Please make sure that you return those to Tony when finished if you borrow one from him, as some might have been kept in previous years.

Net time is 8:00 PM local time. 



For those planning to help with the Heritage Days parade on Saturday, I have updated information in regards to the meeting time and place. 

Please plan to meet at the Convention and Visitors Bureau (201 S. Lafayette St.) at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday morning; the parade starts promptly at 10:15 a.m.  The parade organizers will review necessary guidelines and tell us what we are to do.  I'm sure we will try and honor all requests for people to perform the same duties as they have in the past, though that's ultimately up to the parade committee. 

You need to at least bring a working 2-meter HT, and preferably a safety vest as well if you have one. 

If you would like to help, but have not already sent me an email or given me a call, please do so.
