[LeArc] Meeting 7/14/09

If anyone has an old 2m rig I could borrow for a bit till I get my
gear here I would volunteer to run the net untill someone els would
want to take it up, whenever that would be.

This event was to be scheduled on July 22nd.  Details were discussed on how to present and hopefully we will get a followup of this event posted on the reflector.  Other events such as a School Roundup were discussed and dates for that event were Oct 9 thru the 13th.

> No volunteers to run the net were offered so unless someone takes it upon themselves to run the net on Sunday nights at 8 PM there will be no net.  At this point we will have no net assignments till at least August 16th.  As we get into the fall the net should be a topic of discussion in a future meeting. Is the time convenient, what would be a better time, should there be other information or programs such as Newsline be presented?   Having a net establishes a club presence in our area and also promotes familiarity with other amateur radio operators.  It brings use and activity to the repeater.  Please thing about this and provide your input at a future meeting.
