Sam:

This might be best to bring it before the club at the next club meeting on July 14th at 7 PM.  It is held at the Red Cross office on South Maple Ave.  That way we could find out more about your efforts, date and what is needed and solicit volunteers to assist.  It also gets you a face to face with some of the more active amateurs in the area.

Hope to see you then

Hello all,

I just sent an email to the emaill address I found listed for the
club, I guess I should have sent it here first. The point of the email
was this: I recently got involved with the colchester library board
and proposed to them to have an amateur radio day to help foster
interest in the library and the amateur radio community in the area. I
was looking for hams to help with the event and hopefully someone to
lend a radio for the event, (no antenna necesary I'll be putting
together a wire antenna for the event), I would provide one myself but
I don't have my gear in state yet. Any help or involvement would be
greatly appreciated. Anyone interested can either email me directly at
ARNG.RAWALDO at gmail.com, KC2OMO at gmail.com, reply on the reflector, or
call me at 309.776.3292. Again any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
   Sam Waldo
