Also ten was open.  Here is a report from Bill Brown near Huntsville, Al hearing the beacon at my house on 28.215 running three watts into a 5/8 wave antenna at eight feet off the ground:

You're S-7 here in Huntsville this afternoon...loudest beacon on the band...only hearing the MN beacons and yours.
