Hello,
At your business meeting last week, Tony (KB9NAB) was elected to the club
officer position of Emergency Services Coordinator. Part of this person's
job is to maintain a roll call of all LEARC members and what equipment
they might have available for emergency use. This information will be
available to the McDonough County ESDA in the event of an actual emergency
situation where hams are needed.
Can you help us with this task?
I will be building a spreadsheet for Tony to maintain. We need your help,
so I am asking that you please respond by emailing me at this address
(kb9tma at yahoo.com). I would like to have a name, call sign, physical
address, email address, and a current contact phone number, along with any
equipment that you could make available in an emergency.
Please remember that emergency communications is a vital part of amateur
radio, and the reason for the "EMERGENCY" in our club's name!
One list will be shared only with the County ESDA coordinator, while
another will be made available to the club as a whole. If there is any
private information that needs to be left off of the version distributed
to club members, just note that in your email.
