There were 11 members and 3 guests present at the meeting!

We had ten (10) club members and/or area amateurs that assisted with
communications and parade operations for the annual Macomb Heritage Days
parade the last weekend of June.  The Heritage Days committee extended its
thanks for our annual service in this regard.

All present officers were re-elected to serve another full year term for
the club, with the exception of the program director, which remains vacant
for the short term due to a lack of interest.  The following is a list of
current officers for 2008-2009:

President - Jesse Risley, K9JLR
Vice President - Ken Betz, KC9ERB
Secretary - Brandon Sullivan, KC9ILN
Treasurer - Kevin Walter, KC9EBJ
Trustee - Rich Sample, N9EWQ

Emergency Services Coordinator - Tony Coniglio, KB9NAB

It was noted that the 440 MHz repeater remains off the air due to a
receiver problem, with no current timetable for that go be reinstated. 
The 147.060 MHz repeater antenna has yet to be replaced.  The new antenna
is ready to go, but Mark is having issues getting a tower crew to properly
complete the work in a timely manner.  WIU still needs to approve
unblocking the Internet ports before Echolink can be operational with the
147.060 MHz repeater.

Mark encouraged the club to begin exploring alternative fundraiser
options, as some our VHF repeater equipment is nearing the end of its
serviceable life (i.e. hardline, repeater equipment, antennas) and
replacements will be likely during the next five years.
