This balloon splashed down in Lake Erie about 12 miles from shore.  This is truly amazing that they were able to recover it and quicly.  Mark KA9SZX

Dear friends, 

BASE 20 has been located on the beach in Port Burwell 
Provincial Park in Ontario. A Canadian man walking 
the beach discovered the payloads on Saturday. 

After reassuring him that the only liquid in the pods 
was Lake Erie water, he is returning to the site to 
pick up the system and return it to me. 

Thanks to everyone that followed the flight, 
especially Harry for his efforts to contact his friend 
in St. Thomas.
