1. The National Weather Service FO in Davenport will be participating in this year's SKYWARN Recognition Day.  SKYWARN Recognition Day (SRD) was developed in 1999 by the National Weather Service and the American Radio Relay League. It celebrates the contributions that volunteer SKYWARN radio operators make to the National Weather Service. During the day SKYWARN operators visit NWS offices and contact other radio operators across the world. Information regarding SRD is updated at http://hamradio.noaa.gov

2. LEARC is scheduled to ring bells for the Salvation Army from 4pm - 8pm on Saturday, Dec. 6th at the K-Mart store in Macomb. We still have two shifts that need to be filled!  

It has been past practice that we have two persons fill each time slot.  

4 pm - 5 pm : Tony, KB9NAB +Don, KA9SQB
5 pm - 6 pm:  Mac, N9RGF + XYL
6 pm - 7 pm:  
7 pm - 8 pm: 

3. Reminder - Holiday party December 9th following a short business meeting.  Please bring a treat to pass!
