Hello all,

We will be attempting the launch of Far Horizons 12 this Saturday, April 5th. The details are as usual:

Location: 		Koerner Aviation, Kankakee
Time & Date:		10am release, April 5th, 2008
APRS:		144.390 MHz, KC9LIG-11
			144.390 MHz, W9RAO-11
CW beacon:		146.565 MHz, WB9SKY



The weather predictions right now look fairly good with temperatures about 50F, winds below 5mph and less than 50% sky coverage.

The track predictions give a landing point near Walkerton, Indiana about 80 miles away and 70 degrees bearing. A bit longer than we would like, but not out of the question. It'll be a bit of a drive to get under it.

Apologies for the late notice. I hope to see some of you at the launch.

The van situation is not yet worked out. If you are interested in ride down let me know and I'll keep you informed when the situation is clarified.
