Winter Weather Advisory

...Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Saturday morning
through Saturday afternoon...
A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Saturday morning through
Saturday afternoon.
A mix of snow...sleet and freezing rain will develop across the area
Saturday as a storm system approaches from the southwest. The
precipitation will change to freezing rain by mid day as
temperatures hover in the upper 20s to near 30. Ice accumulations
of a quarter to half inch or more are possible by Saturday
evening. Southeast winds of 20 to 30 mph with isolated gusts to
near 40 mph Saturday afternoon will likely result in damage to
some trees and power lines. The precipitation is expected to
change to primarily rain Saturday night as temperatures rise well
above freezing.
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow...sleet...and/or ice accumulations that would seriously
impact travel. Monitor later forecasts for updates.
