[LeArc] Lions Club invitation

We (LEARC) have been invited to prepare a short presentation (30 minutes or less) to the Macomb Lions Club at their next club meeting on March 1st at 6:30 p.m.  They normally schedule a guest speaker at each meeting, and the Lions club would like to hear a presentation specifically about the amateur radio hobby and the role of LEARC in this region.  Tony, KB9NAB prepared a presentation last fall about the county ESDA and weather spotting that was well received as one of the best programs the Lions club ever had.

I'm already a Lions club member, but it would be great if a club member or two could attend the meeting and co-conduct the presentation since the Lions club hears me do enough speaking as it is.  If you are interested in attending the meeting and working on a short presentation about ham radio, followed by a Q&A session with Lions members, please contact me via email or let me know at the meeting.  Guest speakers receive a free meal courtesy of the Lions club too!
