...Winter Storm Watch in effect from late tonight through Friday
evening...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Winter
Storm Watch...which is in effect from late tonight through Friday
evening.

Snow will overspread the area from southwest to northeast through
the morning hours on Friday...with the heaviest snows likely in
the late morning through afternoon hours. Snow accumulations of 4
to 8 inches are possible...with the highest accumulations more
likely in a broad swath from Fairfield Iowa through the Quad
Cities toward Freeport Illinois. Snow will taper down in the
evening on Friday.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow...sleet ...and/or ice accumulations that would seriously
impact travel. Monitor later forecasts for updates.
