[LeArc] Parade notice -- earlier than we thought

Hi, all,
I've been told by the Homecoming Days parade organizers
today Parade
that the judging for Saturday morning's parade will be at 9
a.m. Volunteers
That, unfortunately, means that most floats will be in their
places Sorely
by that
time.
Needed
And THAT means that anyone who can come earlier would be
greatly appreciated. I can pick up the list sheets at 8, and then
will head for Lafayette Square. Will be on 147.06, which seems to
be the frequency that works. I'll have listings and orange vests.
You might want to bring a pencil, and perhaps a spare battery,
and maybe even a water bottle along with the HT.
For anyone who can help, the earlier the better.
And they'd like to have at least eight people. if we don't
have that many, we'll have to split up just before the parade
starts. They need three people at the corners of the square
to keep people back and make sure that the Clydesdales have
plenty of turning room: apparently, these horses are not
zero turning radius. :-)
See you tomorrow,
Thanks and '73,
Don
And, of course, Lemon Shake-Ups afterward are on me!
(As long as it's from the Barbershoppeers)
