...Testing of the new valid time event code this afternoon...

Test products containing test valid time and event codes will be
issued by wfo Davenport this afternoon. While the format of these
products will be similar to real products they do not depict actual
hazards.

No hazardous weather is expected across the area today.

The series of products this office will issue today and over the
next several weeks will try to simulate the life cycle of a real
weather event. This exercise is needed to thoroughly test both
internal NWS systems and external dissemination systems.
It is part of a widespread test of vtec occurring through June 24.
In general...products will be tested on days with no hazardous
weather.

week of June 6...High Wind Warning /chinpwdvn/
