...The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the la
moine river at Colmar...

Thunderstorms dropped one to two inches of rain over parts of west central 
Illinois last night.  Runoff from the heavy rain will cause some minor 
flooding on parts of the la moine river tonight.

La moine river near Colmar,
* minor flooding is forecast.
* 8 am stage: 18.5 ft.
* Flood stage:  20.0 ft.
* Forecast crest...around flood stage...tonight around midnight.

A river Flood Warning means river flooding is expected to impact
people and property in the warned areas. Prepare for flooding impacts
associated with the forecast river levels near you.

River forecasts incorporate only observed and forecast 24 hour
precipitation.

Look for an updated statement around 7 to 10 hours from the time of
this statement issuance.
