Kahoka...Macomb...Memphis...Monmouth...Oquawka...Princeton

...Winter Storm Warning in effect today until 6 PM CST...

Snow will continue through the afternoon. The snow will fall heavily
at times...reducing visibilities to less than one mile. Snow
accumulation of 6 to 8 inches is likely by evening...with isolated
higher amounts possible.

Despite the fact that the ground is warm...the moderate to heavy
intensity of the snow at times...will be sufficient to create
a slushy accumulation on roadways making for slick travel conditions.
In addition...the heavy wet nature of the snow in combination with
brisk northeast winds may cause some power outages and damage to
trees.
