Winter Weather Advisory
729 am CST Wed Nov 24 2004
Kahoka...Macomb...Memphis...Monmouth...Oquawka...Princeton

...Winter Weather Advisory in effect today until 6 PM CST...

Snow will continue through the afternoon. The snow will fall heavily
at times...reducing visibilities to less than one mile. Snow
accumulation of 3 to 5 inches is likely by late afternoon...with
locally higher amounts possible.

Despite the fact that the ground is warm...the moderate to heavy
intensity of the snow at times...will be sufficient to create
a slushy accumulation on roadways making for slick travel conditions.
In addition...the heavy wet nature of the snow in combination with
brisk northeast winds may trigger some power outages and damage to
tree limbs.

Persons in the advisory area are urged to stay tuned to later
statements. The Winter Weather Advisory may need to be upgraded to a
Winter Storm Warning.

Expires:241800 gmt
