    READ SECOND PARAGRAPH FIRST......

As All ham operators know, or should know, our primary function =
should be Public Service. In these troubled times, and now during =
severe weather season, there is always the possibility for the loss of =
phone lines. This could be very disastrous for for the hospital. If any =
of you are intested, and I hope all of you are, please contact me at =
[email protected].

      Hi BArb.

It shouldn't be a problem. I can contact several of them, and we =
can get the ball rolling. I hope it never happens, but I think it is =
necessary to be prepared just in case. I know this is being done in =
other areas of the country. I'll get on it and get in touch with you, =
and we can set up a time and place to meet.

Would it be possible to set up a meeting with some of the ham =
radio operators to talk about a plan to provide alternative =
communication in the event of loss of phone lines? We have talked about =
this in the past, but I'd like to move forward on this.

      Thanks,=20
