LETTER TO THE EDITORS.



As you all know, Saturday night was pretty hectic weather wise.  There =
were at least 13 tornadoes and funnel clouds reported in the area.  =
Although there was some property damage, fortunately, there were no =
deaths or injuries reported in the McDonough county area.

A special thanks goes out to the 17 ham radio storm spotters, members of =
the Lamoine Emergency Amateur Radio Club and non members who were out in =
that mess and did a great job of helping to inform the people of our =
area.  Also, a big thanks to the area fire and police agencies on their =
efforts.

This was the most active weather we have had since 1998 as far as I can =
recall.

Once again,  GREAT JOB.
