Tony..

I had to giggle a bit when I read your post. About 2 years ago we had a
major failure of the phone system at MDH. To be honest we were not well
prepared. I saw some of the administration and suggested that I activate
some hams with 2 meter gear and post them throughout the hospital for
communications. Seemed like a good idea to me.. Well, to make a long story
short, it didn't happen.

While the idea was well received, they didn't think that we would be needed
this time and the idea was not put to use.. Now I read that things have
changed. Kinda tickles me that Barb didn't remember I was a ham. Wonder what
she thinks the handheld radio is for that I sometimes bring to work?? HEHE.
Oh well..

Count me in..

Stay safe
