AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE WILL KEEP QUIET WEATHER OVER THE REGION
TODAY. LATE TONIGHT...A STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH FROM THE
NORTHWEST. HOWEVER...MOISTURE WILL BE LACKING...AND ONLY SCATTERED
RAIN SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.
SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH THURSDAY.
UPCOMING SPOTTER TRAINING CLASSES:
March 28, 2002: Freeport, IL, Two Classes, 1:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m.
On Thursday, March 28th, Severe weather and tornado spotter training
will be conducted in Freeport, Illinois (Stephenson County) at
Highland Community College in Building H. Two classes will once again
be offered this year. The first will be at 1:00 p.m., and the second
at 7:00 p.m. Both classes are free and both classes will be two
