FROM: RICH SAMPLE, McDONOUGH COUNTY ESDA DIRECTOR, AND
TONY CONIGLIO, LAMOINE EMERGENCY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB PROGRAM CHAIRMAN
RE: STORM SPOTTER TRAINING FOR McDONOUGH COUNTY
McDonough County Emergency Services and Disaster Agency and the Lamoine =
Emergency Amateur Radio Club (LEARC) will sponsor a tornado and severe =
thunderstorm spotter training class on Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at 7 PM =
at the Macomb American Legion Hall located at 221 East Washington =
Street.
Jim Meyer, the Warning Coordination Meteorologist WCO for the National =
Weather Service will conduct the session. Admission is free, and Anyone =
interested in severe weather including emergency personnel and the =
public is encouraged to attend this program. You do not have to be =
interested in being a spotter for McDonough County ESDA to attend.
At 6:30 PM, prior to the class, the radio club will hold a short =
meeting.
