Greetings

I read with interest the problem that Josh is having with the memory on =
Gene's old rig.

As I recall, Gene was running an Aleanco (sorry for the spelling error). =
I too have one, I believe it was a DT-910 or the like. Anyway I also had =
a memory problem. There is a battery located inside that was the source =
of my problem. Bought a new one from AES and it repaired the problem. I =
thought that I heard ED K9HLT say he had a similar problem with his.

I was tempted to fix the problem with a large hammer and then purchase a =
 ICOM..    HIHI..
