I hope those that were present at the April meeting enjoyed the
demonstration I gave of the ILINK program. If you have any questions
that I did not answer at the meeting, or just need me to repeat
something you didn't hear (I know it was hard to hear me over K9DI's
snoring) the first time, drop me a E-mail and I will see what I can do
for you.
Below are several links to the web pages I mentioned during the
demonstration. Some of them are general amateur radio links. Others
are for the different internet linking web programs.
ARRL - Has general articles concerning amateur radio. If you are an
ARRL member, you can log into the members area and access additional
information.
http://www.arrl.org/
The AC6V web site. If it has anything to do with amateur radio, you can
find a link to it here. By far the best amateur radio information site
I have found on the web.

The WeatherBug. A nice little program that provides you with real time
local weather information. It even sounds an alarm (sounds like a
cricket chirping) when a watch or warning is issued for your area.

The page to download the ILINK program. It is free. Once downloaded,
just run it. It will ask you for some information and then tell you it
is verifying your information. In a couple of hours you will be able to
access all the programs functions. There is also a link to a user's
manual to get you started with the program.
http://www.aacnet.net/
The home page for the Internet Radio Linking Project (IRLP.) This is a
system similar to ILINK only with better security.

Live 365. You can listen to the IRLP Denver CO. reflector here (REF2.)
Unlike ILINK, you cannot just download the IRLP program and start using
it. You have to be registered. But this page gives you a good example
of what repeaters linked by the internet sound like. This site has a
lot of other audio links you can listen to as well.

Here is a page with a lot of good information about the different
internet linking programs. Programs mentioned include ILINK, eQSO,
IRLP, and IPHONE.

If there were any other pages I mentioned and have not listed here,
please drop me an E-mail and I will send it to you.
